The Lead Ombuds Deputy will be a core member of the GE Aerospace Ombuds team that leads development and implementing an overall strategy for the Open Reporting program at GE Aerospace. The Lead Specialist - Compliance & Regulatory will be a lawyer or Compliance professional, responsible for ensuring prompt logging and assignment of investigations, assisting with open investigations including projects to reduce case aging and reporting themes, mentoring a network of >80 part-time site Ombuds, and preventing overdue corrective actions for a variety of matters involving alleged violations of: law, GE Aerospace policy, non-policy matters, and/or assistance answering compliance questions.
This Lead Specialist - Compliance & Regulatory must have a proven record of being thorough, fair, and objective with attention to detail, and timely and adapt easily to working in a diverse and multicultural work environment.

- Lead and handle independent case logging and issuance.
- Conduct concern raiser intakes as needed.
- Ability to i dentify and understand trends; analyze and report out on such trends and thereby enable the organization to respond in a timely and proactive manner .
- Lead projects related to reducing case aging, gaining ombuds efficiencies/lean, and preventing corrective actions from becoming overdue.
- Partner and mentor network of >80 part-time site Ombuds.
- The salary range for this position is $108,900.00 - $145,400.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a
variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan. - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university .
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Ombuds, workplace investigations, compliance, law, internal audit, controllership, or related field.
- Professional fluency in English is required .
