AddressAt Itera Mobility Engineering, we are searching for candidates to fill future needs within the automotive business in Europe. The candidate will work with one of the most popular manufacturers of luxury sports cars located in Gaydon, United Kingdom.
Responsabilities
- Set system requirements, derived from powertrain & vehicle targets, creating a detailed System Design Specification (for performance, durability, design for manufacture, quality, service & logistical requirements ect).
- Work in parallel with simulation and testing teams to define VV & DVP plan to support robust delivery vs requirements.
- Create and own overall commodity timing plan for the system.
- Lead project health governance reviews with management for the system.
- Lead system integration activities, primarily mechanical interfaces and vehicle packaging.
- Lead 3D design and release of X1 (concept phase) and M1 (vehicle prototype phase) BoM
- Lead technical element of supplier RFQ, selection and sourcing.
- Lead/manage supplier through: Requirements management, engineering change requests, regular supplier meetings with action trackers, design robustness & project health tracking, DVP&R setting & tracking
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Mechanical Design engineering or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience in the automotive.
- Transmission & Driveline design and/or development.
- Able to arbitrate conflicts and facilitate the decision making.
- Highly organized person who is process driven and can work autonomously.
- Fluent English.
