Lead Project Manager

As Lead Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of a programme of projects within the ScottishPower Renewables utility scale Solar PV portfolio and for the management of a project delivery team.

What you'll be doing

You will apply industry best practice to the management of your projects, ensuring each project is constructed in accordance with the high standards of safety and quality which ScottishPower Renewables require.

You shall establish a delivery strategy for each of your projects and provide technical and commercial oversight, governance and guidance to your team, ensuring each project is properly controlled and is being delivered in accordance with business's objectives.

You shall actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our business by developing and implementing processes, standards and good practice guidelines for Solar PV project management within ScottishPower Renewables.

You'll provide management and leadership to a diverse team of professionals and shall take responsibility for the daily management of their work, becoming actively involved in their ongoing professional development.

What you'll bring

We are looking for a proven professional with extensive experience of successfully delivering projects and with the capability to manage competing priorities to meet challenging targets and deadlines.

You must be comfortable managing a diverse team and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly related to multicultural relationships.

Educated in an engineering discipline or construction management, you will be able to display previous experience within an infrastructure project management environment, will possess highly developed contractual and commercial awareness and will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of UK health and safety laws and regulations.
