AddressBAM Ritchies have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Rotary Driller with good all-round knowledge in geotechnical investigations. The position is based out of our Kilsyth project office in Glasgow, however the successful applicant shall be working on various projects throughout Scotland and possibly UK. Candidates must be dependable and flexible, whilst having the drive and enthusiasm to work safely, independently and efficiently at all times on technically challenging projects.

Mandatory Requirements:
CSCS Card
B+E Towing Entitlement on Clean Driving Licence
BDA Accredited
SSSTS (Preferred)
First Aid at Work
Land Drilling NVQ Level
Manual Handling Training
Desirable requirements:
Experienced / knowledge of various ground conditions throughout the UK.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Lead Rotary Driller including Dynamic Sampling.
NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling
CSCS Blue Skilled Worker card
Full Clean UK driving licence (complete with B+E towing entitlement).
Be willing to work on various projects throughout the UK.
Experience of operating multi-purpose rigs
Experience of Various overburden casing systems
Experience of Various coring and Open hole drilling.
Experience of different flush types
Experience of in-situ down hole testing
Maintenance knowledge of plant and vehicles
