The Company - Lead Software Engineer

My client are a Start-Up / Scale Up. Using AR, AI and cutting edge computer vision, their web app provides video to help you as the end user fix physical problems. Think no more on-site visits from the plumber or technician.

Imagine remote help to fix a boiler issue or when you lose internet connection and you need help.

They are a Start Up punching well above their weight, with huge levels of self funding, investment, and are now looking to Scale. They are looking for a Technical Leader, to come in, help manage the team and lead technical decision making.

What You Will Be Doing - Lead Software Engineer

You will be working in a start-up, helping them growing. Heading up the technology, managing a team of 6 developers currently.

You will become the expert in the company of their domain knowledge, scaling the technology.

Owning and managing a tech pipeline ensuring delivery, stakeholder management. Front and backend app development in a quickly changing environment.

The Technology is Full-Stack with .Net 6, Azure, React, SQL, RestAPIs. With other technologies in the stack including Python, React Native.

The Skills Needed- Lead Software Engineer

They are ideally looking for someone with experience working in a start up and scaling the technology team. Skilled in managing a tech pipeline ensuring delivery, stakeholder management, front and backend app development in a quickly changing environment.

Needed skills: Azure, .Net Core, C#, React, SQL, RestAPIs

Nice to have skills: Python, React Native, Computer vision experience - however its less likely you will have worked with any of this (maybe in a previous role or degree, or outside of work!)

What You Will Get - Lead Software Engineer

· Salary varies heavily but around £70,000 - £80,000 Basic

· Equity – negotiable at offer stage

· Remote – Edinburgh HQ

· Holidays negotiable on offer but approx 25 Days + Bank Holidays
