Lead Specialist - Global Sourcing

Futures Recruitment Services is supporting a client with the recruitment of a Lead Specialist - Global Sourcing.   The Sourcing Manager works cross-functionally with MMCo’s OpCos, Financial, Marketing, IT, and Legal communities to execute complex projects related to the sourcing and procurement of numerous indirect spend categories that include office supplies, IT, travel, human resources, facilities, and other miscellaneous categories. This individual’s primary responsibility is to build and maintain relationships with internal clients and provide expertise and counsel to deliver maximum value while reducing costs and mitigating risks.

The role will operate on a Hybrid model with 3 days based at the Head Office in London.

Category Management

• Drive Category Management process for Facilities Management and Office Services.
• Be a Procurement SME for Facilities Management and Office Services.
• Identify data led new opportunities through best-in-class category management processes with alignment to internal stakeholders and other cross-functional teams
• Contribute to the development of long-term strategic category plans for Facilities Management and Office Services.
• Develop best procurement practices and support implementation of these practices across Facilities Management, and Office Services.
• Contribute to the development of GSP objectives, strategy, processes, and tools. (GBD, Playbooks, Apex)

Management of the Procurement Category strategies

Be responsible for existing Sourcing Strategies or the development of new Sourcing Strategies.

Design and Build Sourcing Strategies

• Understand MMC’s objectives and how they are considered into GSP business strategies and priorities.
• Ongoing development and alignment of GSP category sourcing strategies with inputs from stakeholders (RES & regional GSP)
• Continual development of a PSL for assigned categories
• Content contribution to regular communication packages/reports that support the implementation of category strategies and plans
• Support the GSP on various sourcing initiatives related to the assigned categories

MANAGE CATEGORY

In close alignment with RES, Regional FM and local procurement uphold the execution of the Facilities Management and Office Services category strategies

Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders for:

• Contract negotiation and management
• Operational meetings with Strategic and Preferred suppliers.
• Manage and support RFP processes until contract execution to support Business projects
• Identify efficiency opportunities across the Category and monitor the implementation to meet the yearly savings targets
• Identify opportunities for 3MA (MMC Master Agreement)
• Assess internal and external and external process improvement, influence effective change, and drive innovation and continuous improvement.

SRM  

• Develop robust partnerships with Strategic and Preferred suppliers.
• Manage and track supplier performance and innovation

Contribute to the ongoing development of the GSP Business.

• Responsibility for Category Procurement performance
• Promote, facilitate, and support compliance of Category Strategy, processes, and Playbooks.
• For assigned categories, develop category network, develop category-specific knowledge and procurement skills through training a research
