Role Overview:
As a Test Lead, you will be a trailblazer in technical leadership, guiding a team of 7 QA professionals whilst working closely with the current QA Manager. Your focus will be on the intricate details of a physical product that incorporates Software, Hardware, Firmware, IOT, and Telecommunications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inspirational technical leadership within the QA team.
- Foster a supportive environment, mentoring and coaching junior team members to promote professional growth.
- Work towards implementing test automation across various projects whilst helping peers grow within the automation space.
- Showcase strong coding skills, ideally with proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, approaching an SDET level.
- Leverage your diverse QA experience in both software and hardware domains, with a keen interest in IOT/Smart Devices.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in leadership positions.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach.
- Expertise in pioneering Test Automation, setting the benchmark for company-wide practices.
- Strong coding skills, preferably with TypeScript/JavaScript proficiency.
- Well-rounded QA experience in both software and hardware domains; IOT/Smart Devices experience is a plus.
