What is the role about?
The Lean Projects Executive has responsibility for the management of multiple concurrent continuous improvement projects across all Reed in Partnership Divisions.
Using Lean Six Sigma principles, the Lean Projects Executive will work collaboratively with delivery teams and/or support functions to ensure the high quality, timely delivery of project objectives.
To ensure this role is successful the Lean Projects Executive will need to quickly build up strong relationships with Operational teams, as well as other support functions, such as Management Information, People Team, and Learning & Development.
Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the running and management of continuous improvement projects utilising the Lean Six Sigma methodology.
- Working with operational teams to implement new service solutions.
- Support Operations to implement and use quality improvement tools and processes, including observations of delivery (remote and face to face), participant journey checks, feedback surveys and the use of Management Information.
- Undertake additional support or training sessions (remote and face to face) with operational teams.
- Analysing trends from quality and continuous improvement processes and supporting Operations in the sharing of best practice and driving improvements.
- Working with Operational teams to ensure identified improvements are being acted on and measuring the impact of this.
- Support the wider CI team to manage the Self-Assessment and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) processes.
- Support Operational teams to analyse Management Information to identify trends in delivery.
- Where applicable deliver training, coaching or support sessions (remote or face to face) to Operational teams to support the understanding of quality and delivery requirements of the programme.
- Produce guidance and other supporting documentation for operational teams to use to drive improvements and the sharing of best practice.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with
Essential Criteria:
- Experience of delivering group and/or one to one training and/or IAG.
- Experience delivering high quality written materials using MS Word, briefings, reports, guidance documents that are clear, accurate and concise.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, data manipulation, pivot tables and data presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure with short timescales.
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate.
- Good attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent decision-making skills.
- Educated to degree level.
- Understanding of quality improvement activities.
- Experience of Publicly Funded employability service delivery, either from within a government or local authority team or function or contracted service.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of using Lean Six Sigma with a Yellow or Green Belt qualification.
- Teaching or training qualification (level 3).
- Experience of the Governments Welfare to Work sector.
