Job description

We are actively seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Associate to join our esteemed team as we continue to strengthen our workforce. Based in hHerts you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the professional growth of our employees within the dynamic environment of a main contracting company.

Responsibilities:

  1. Training Program Design and Implementation:

    • Collaborate with project managers and subject matter experts to design and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to the construction industry.
    • Develop and facilitate hands-on workshops and simulations to enhance practical skills.
  2. Safety and Compliance Training:

    • Ensure that all employees receive necessary safety training, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
    • Implement compliance training programs to align with project-specific requirements.
  3. Skill Assessment and Development Plans:

    • Work closely with project teams to assess skill gaps and develop targeted learning plans.
    • Implement strategies for continuous improvement in technical competencies and project-specific skills.
  4. Apprenticeship and Graduate Programs:

    • Oversee apprenticeship and graduate development programs, providing mentorship and structured learning experiences.
    • Collaborate with universities and educational institutions to strengthen talent pipelines.
  5. Learning Technology Integration:

    • Evaluate and implement digital learning tools to enhance training effectiveness.
    • Manage the learning management system to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing and delivering learning programs
  • Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate training initiatives across multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and other digital learning technologies.
