Job description

A quick look at the role

The L&D Coordinator provides centralised administrative support to the wider L&OD team based across the UK. You will be responsible for a wide range of administration activities including the coordination of all centralised courses, maintaining our learning management system 'Know How' and supporting the Driver Academy programme.

Your core responsibilities

  • Plan, promote and administer all L&OD programmes with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service
  • Provide administrative support for those responsible for training across the business, liaising with external training providers and certified bodies as required and managing the central learning inbox
  • Ensure accurate, detailed training records are maintained
  • Ensure the relationships between the L&OD function, internal stakeholders and external suppliers are positive and productive
  • Proactively contribute to, and implement, internal L&OD process improvement with a key focus to utilise Know How
  • Producing ad-hoc and regular training reports via Know How
  • Support the Driver Academy Programme across Biffa including coordinating the Driver LGV Training Programme and issuing, and managing responses to, Driver Exit Surveys

Our essential requirements

  • Previous administrative experience
  • Confident with all Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels
  • Resilient with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Well organised with excellent attention to detail
