Learning &Amp; Development Manager

We are delighted to announce that we are seeking an experienced L&D Manager to join our dynamic team at the Fulham Pier! This is an exciting opportunity for an L&D professional with a strong desire to support growth and development and are keen to join a company that prioritises training and development.As L&D Manager, you will take the lead in managing the delivery and management of all training and development opportunities for Sodexo Live! staff, whether casual, agency, or full-time members of the team. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all training activity is in line with internal policies and client agreements.The Fulham Pier will become the heart of the community and the standard bearer for indulgent experiences, which will attract both Londoner’s and tourist from all over the world!We are exceptional hosts and independent champions, curating authentic brands that are dreamed up and run with passion. We have a remarkable selection of food and drink experiences, ranging from, Pop-up bars and pop-up local cuisine, to elegant fine dining experiences. Our entertainment options are as exceptional as our dining experiences, and we cater for all tastes and moods.  We offer local theatre, outdoor gigs, jazz clubs, an art gallery, cooking classes, a comedy club, book launches, film nights and water sports, to name but a few. Whether it’s saluting the sun in the morning with riverfront yoga or toasting the night with a magical cocktail we are building a playground for the senses! MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and develop new training and development initiatives aligned to the business strategy to raise the standard of service on site.Ensure that all Sodexo employees and casual staff have received the required learning and development as set out in through Fulham Pier and in accordance with Sodexo internal policies.Ensure that all training activity is aligned to the Fulham Pier and Sodexo Live! brand and overarching strategy.  Ensure all direct staff are fully compliant in completion of both E-Learning and classroom training prior to their first shift.Maintain accurate records of all learning and development activity undertaken on site and report on this following timescales and formats agreed.Consult with the Operations Managers to provide solutions to identify learning and development needsIdentify, design, and develop E-Learning solutions to meet the business needsLead the development of Management development programmes to the teamsLiaise with suppliers and third parties to deliver relevant brand, skills and product training within budget and timeframesProduce and maintain a local training need analyses for teams on siteDevise engaging reward and recognition schemes to ensure retention of casual, blue contract and full-time team membersTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE You will have previous experience of working in a L&D role within the hospitality and events industry. You will have the ability to analyse and identify the training needs of the team and create and deliver a robust training programme that covers all aspects of the requirement.It is essential that you are a highly motivated individual with the influencing skills to motivate others.You will also have:Experience of designing e-learning coursesPrevious experience of designing food related learning including information on AllergensStrong presentation skills with the ability to deliver to large groups of people of all levels.Experience in management of budgets Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and organisationConfident in the use of Microsoft programmes including Excel and PowerPointWHAT WE OFFERYou will be rewarded with a salary of between £35,000-£40,000 plus access to a range of benefits, including a performance-related bonus, employer pension contribution and life assurance – 1 x annual salary.For more information on all the great benefits Sodexo offer to support you and your loved ones, check out the attached Benefits Guide at the bottom of this advert!By joining Sodexo Live!, you will be part of something greater, working in an environment that fosters innovation and supports your professional growth. We’re experience makers and food fanatics.
