This is a new role in Leaning and Development team working on our training programme, supporting our Learning and Development Coordinators. You will work with staff across Hertfordshire Community Trust, as well as our trainers and the team.
You will be interested in developing yourself and others, and we will want you to complete an apprenticeship programme to help you in this role and for your own career aspirations.
The role is based at Howard Court in Welwyn Garden City and will be a mixture of office and home working days. We are happy to consider flexible working requests.
JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY:
This role is to provide support to the administration of the Trust training programmes to all staff groups, as agreed with the Learning and Development Coordinator.
Based at Howard Court, you will work with the team on the day to day management of individual training seminars and the Trust Learning Management System (My Learning Zone). You will set up the training rooms as required, working with trainers and welcoming staff to sessions.
You'll have daily contact with individual team members and managers by email and phone. You will respond to their queries, giving advice about the suitability of courses.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Learning and Development coordinator, you will undertake a wide range of administrative tasks, including data inputting into the Trust Learning Management System, managing the Learning and Development email correspondence and telephone queries.
This will include
Engaging proactively and reactively with all staff members and managers about booking queries and offer general advice on the suitability of specific sessions, booking staff onto training sessions.
Liaising with internal and external trainers to confirm their requirements and providing attendance lists and collating resources.
Providing day to day support for trainers at Howard Court including setting up training rooms and welcoming participants to sessions.
Administering HCT training programmes including booking delegates, generating attendance lists and printing resources, administering zoom and MS Team meetings marking performance
Using the Trust Learning Management System on a daily basis to create and amend individual training records, seminars and evaluations.
