Reed HR are working with a Public Sector Organisation based in East London to recruit a Learning and Development Manager on a Permanent basis. Salary is circa £40,000 - £43,000 per annum. This job will operate on a hybrid working model, with some days worked both in the office and from home as and when required according to business needs.
The main purpose of this job will be to work closely with the Head of HR to deliver the organisation’s Learning And Development strategy. You will be responsible for identifying learning gaps within the organisation and create bespoke solutions that will support employees grow their knowledge and skill base which will help them to develop within their own roles.
Some of the roles and responsibilities of this job are as follows:
- Develop and source learning opportunities which support the development, growth, and progression of individual employees, and assist the organisation In aiding retention and resolving any skills gaps.
- Develop an engagement strategy to promote Learning And Development throughout the organisation to gain buy in and commitment from employees at all levels
- Set up and maintain an effective training administration processes, providing regular management information as requested.
- Manage the relationship with third party service providers to ensure best practice and cost efficiencies are maintained
- Contribute to other HR projects as required, ensuring successful implementation and review.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the organisation’s strategic priorities to develop an approach to Learning And Development that supports the People and Culture Strategy.
- Undertake any additional adhoc duties as required
This is a professional and demanding Learning and Development Manager role, and to be successful it is ideal that you have experience working within an L&D role previously, as well as hold a CIPD qualification.
