We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Facilitator to join our People Development team. The candidate will help to deliver core learning curriculum including the weekly new starter induction, mentoring, insights and AWE’s Management Development Programme with a key focus on improving human / people skills. This will involve both onsite and offsite face to face training, as well as some virtual delivery for all employees within the business.
Location: Reading/Basingstoke area
Salary: £34,400 - £42,000 (dependent on your suitability and level of experience)

What will you be required to do?
- Deliver AWE core curriculum, from induction of new employees to Line Managers to Senior Leaders
- Designing new learning interventions
- Working on projects to deliver new learning initiatives across the business
- Provide ongoing analysis of training
- Collate, compile and report on training assessment results, training attendance and other training data.
- Ensure training courses are loaded into Learning Management System and kept up to date with any changes. Implement improvements where identified
- Work with stakeholders to understand our development needs within the business to help deliver our mission
- Work on projects across wider HR when required
Whilst not to be considered a check list, candidates should be able to demonstrate some of the following:
- Excellent facilitation skills
- Experience delivering human/ people skills development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and dealing with multiple stakeholders
- Good organisation skills and ability to manage own schedule
- Problem Solving
- Great attention to detail
- Experience of delivering training and managing a classroom environment
- Experience of working with schedules and deadlines
This job role is suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal, non-contractual and voluntary arrangement, blending a balance of attendance in the workplace (your permanent duty station) and working from home as a personal choice. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.
The successful candidate is required to carry out all their duties from a UK location and cannot do so from an overseas location at any time.
