Learning and Organisational Development Co-ordinator

Role Description

Working as a member of NI Water’s award winning Learning and Engagement (L&E) function, the post holder will support delivery of best in class Learning and Organisationaldevelopment strategies to drive performance, build skills and maximise capability.

The Learning & Organisational (L&OD) Co-Ordinator will work alongside the L&OD Manager and wider L&E team to drive transformational change to support the five key people priorities under NIW’s People and Learning strategy (see page 8).

The role will be based at Antrim Learning & Development Centre (LDC) but will require regular travel to NIW’s head office at Westland Road, Belfast and occasional travel to other NIW sites as required.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

1. A third level qualification in a relevant area AND a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role to include:

a) Co-ordination of management/leadership development strategies.

b) Demonstrable experience of co-ordinating L&D projects end to end (from needs analysis to planning, design, delivery and evaluation).

c) Strong project management experience including evidence of managing stakeholder relationships at all levels.

OR (in the absence of a third level qualification)

A minimum of four years’ experience in a similar role to include:

a) Co-ordination of management/leadership development strategies.

b) Demonstrable experience of co-ordinating L&D projects end to end (from needs analysis to planning, design, delivery and evaluation).

c) Strong project management experience including evidence of managing stakeholder relationships at all levels.

2. Proficient in the use of ICT, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.

3. As this post requires you to travel on official duty throughout Northern Ireland, you must have a full, current driving license or access to a reliable means of transport, which will enable you to fulfil your responsibilities. This is an operational requirement and is essential to meet business needs.

Salary

This role offers a competitive remuneration package with a salary scale of £33,670 to £44,893 per annum (pay award pending).

The starting salary will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Location

The role will be based at the Learning & Development Centre, Milltown Road, Antrim, BT41 4NW, but will require regular travel to NIW’s head office at Westland Road, Belfast and occasional travel to other NI Water sites across Northern Ireland.
