HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site
About this opportunity
As the Strategy Manager for Finance Transformation, you’ll be a key player in our journey toward creating a safe, successful, and sustainable Finance Function. As the Strategy Manager, you'll drive critical initiatives within our Finance Transformation program.
Our platform aims to redefine the Groups finance processes, people and capabilities. By leveraging innovative Oracle Cloud technology, we’re streamlining processes and driving efficiency. As part of the Finance Transformation program, we’re replacing the Group’s General Ledger platform, which is nearing its end of life. This transformation presents a unique opportunity to turn data into our competitive advantage, enhance controls, and create new value for the Group.
Day to day you’ll be;
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive multi-year Finance Transformation benefits roadmap. This will guide our efforts to improve efficiency, control, and value creation.
- Establishing pivotal integration points across the Finance Platform and its labs.
- Cultivating strong relationships to influence our planned changed and align them with the overall roadmap.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of long-term plans, bringing concepts and opportunities to life, ensuring their viability and alignment with our strategic objectives.
- Supporting our Platform leads by creating high-quality content for senior colleagues and committees.

What you’ll need
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to problem solve, generate scenarios and discussion, structure problems and generate robust conclusions and strategic objectives.
- Effective Communicator: Your ability to convey ideas through compelling storytelling is essential. Translate technical concepts into clear, simple messages for senior collaborators.
- Change Delivery: You will have experience in working in a change management environment as you support colleagues in achieving their outcomes and associated benefits.
- Stakeholder management: Using a commercial understanding and excellent communication skills, to develop and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of people and business areas. A knowledge of our finance processes and estate would be beneficial.
- Data Analytics: Ability to review and perform good quality analysis, including resourcefulness in sourcing and validating data, to present recommendations.
And any experience of these would be really useful
- Clarity from Ambiguity: Embracing non-fully defined challenges to structure and resolve. Uncover insights, identify gaps, and ask the questions others may not. Your attention to detail will drive business outcomes.
- Finance knowledge: Although not essential you may have worked in part of the Group’s Finance Function and understand some finance processes and systems.
- Curious and Bold: You thrive on challenges and enjoy storytelling. Your ability to challenge norms will be key.
