Role Overview:
Harper Recruitment Group Ltd are working alongside a local authority to hire an innovative Learning andDevelopment Consultant who will design and implement a wide range of programmes to enhance their workforce capability and cultivate a high-performing culture.
Main duties of role:

• Facilitating and delivering transformative Management and Leadership development courses
• Identifying and addressing skills gaps
• Offering advice and employing creative design methods
• Liaising with SME's, People Leads and Business Partners
• Enable the development of talent by strengthening the approach to internal mobility e.g. secondments, projects and short-term assignments
• Measuring key performance indicators
• Meeting standards set by the CIPD and integrate this in to all actions
• Creating learning solutions for a variety of different audiences with a collaborative approach
• Evaluating the impact of learning initiatives

Required knowledge and skills:

• Educated to a degree level in a relevant professional field e.g. Learning and Development, Human Resources or equivalent
• Professional membership of CIPD at Chartered level or working towards this
• Demonstrate experience of successful planning, designing and delivering Learning and development interventions in a large and complex organisation
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Knowledge of design thinking and a good understanding of modern learning design and delivery approach
