KM4HR are exclusively recruiting a talented Learning & Development Manager for an employer of choice in the Bedfordshire area. In this newly created role we are looking for both a design and delivery expert to engage with the existing staff, encouraging continuous learning to support internal career paths/progression opportunities.
Working with the HR SLT you will have the opportunity to advise and influence the entire strategy building a 1st in class Learning & Development programme.
Role Requirements:
- Lead on the designing and implementation of learning strategies and training programs
- Design and deliver courses, workshops and other trainings both on e-learning platforms and face to face
- Carry out L&D capability assessments across the entire organisation
- Identify opportunities to upskill and retrain current team members, implementing various learning methods (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
- Support Managers in developing their own teams
- Establish and nurture 3rd party relationships within talent development
- Support the development of a newly built training facility that could be offered externally at cost
- Drive a culture of coaching and continuous professional development
- Develop strong and effective stakeholder relationships
- Maintain department budgets
Knowledge Required:
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
- Experience in designing, creating and implementing L&D strategies.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering high volume training
- Experience of transforming L&D practices and development of tools/processes.
