Job description

Purpose of Role:

Forming part of the Central L&D Team, The Operational Trainer will support delivery of key business strategies by delivery of learning programmes and projects in a mix of different departments and environments.

The Trainer is responsible for meeting training needs of colleagues across the Integral using blended learning and coaching, classroom learning and virtual learning delivery methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate learning solutions, preparing plans according to adult learning theory and providing a high-impact, interactive environment
  • Identify learning needs within assigned business units through completion of learning needs analysis activities. Develop professional, collaborative relationships with business unit leaders
  • Collaborate to design, develop and maintain training solutions and components
  • Provides reporting to business area and training management
  • Assist in educating employees on the use of the Learning Management System
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with subject matter experts, business partners and all stakeholders
  • With supervision, manages project resources (people and material) to ensure deliverables are completed in scope and on schedule
  • Maintains current business knowledge; stays abreast of market events, investment product enhancements, and emerging techniques to be up-to-speed on potential training topics
  • Assumes responsibility for ongoing development, researching training industry standards and best practices and embracing new technologies
  • Coordinate logistics of training to include training room, attendance tracking, passwords, materials, and supplies
  • Maintains records for training programs, including evaluations, employee participation and LMS records
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for our products and services, and promote best practises of use as appropriate
  • Any other reasonable requests that support the wider Integral business as agreed by the WD EMEA Integral Learning Lead, Head of Work Dynamics L&D for EMEA and HR Director.
  • Work in partnership with the management team to create and develop training documentation including training courses, user guides, training presentations and trainer lesson plans
