The Learning Experience Lead will be instrumental in designing and deploying impactful blended learning and development programs. Reporting into our Head of Talent & People Experience, this newly created role will take the lead on transforming Learning Experiences across Reach.

You will be engaging and forward thinking in developing a deep understanding in Reach’s strategic objectives and align learning programs to support these goals.

Design, develop and deploy blended Learning Experiences across multiple platforms including: e-learning modules, videos, simulations, multimedia content, face to face development and community led learning interventions

Over the medium term you will be instrumental in evolving our approach to learning, with more blended and engaging programmes and resources to support our population of remote, hybrid and hub based colleagues across the UK, ROI and US, including compliance training (including editorial legal training), providing company wide digital learning expertise, onboarding, and induction programs.

This is a varied and exciting role with room for professional development along with making your own mark within the business by designing, developing and deploying blended Learning Experiences across multiple platforms including: e-learning modules, videos, simulations, multimedia content, face to face development and community led learning interventions.

Job Description

  • The Learning Experience Lead will be instrumental in designing and deploying impactful blended learning and development programs.
  • Collaborating with internal and external subject matter experts to craft engaging and effective Learning Experiences.
  • Areas of focus will include compliance training, editorial legal training, companywide digital learning expertise, onboarding, and induction programs
  • Design, develop and deploy blended Learning Experiences across multiple platforms including: e-learning modules, videos, simulations, multimedia content, face to face development and community led learning interventions
  • Analyse market trends and competitor offerings to ensure our Learning Experiences remain cutting-edge and competitive.
  • Build partnerships with key subject matter experts across the business to encourage contribution to and participation in the delivery of specialist learning interventions
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop customised programs that address specific departmental requirements
  • Actively build community of learning and training leads in different areas of the organisation (e.g. sales, editorial) to share best practices, identify economies of scale
  • Work with the HR systems team to develop the digital onboarding journey for new employees to ensure that they are set up for success
  • Staying abreast of the latest trends in learning design, technology, and adult education methodologies to enhance program quality continually.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in instructional design and e-learning development, with a portfolio demonstrating successful projects.
  • Expertise in digital learning tools (content creation and management)
  • Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset, able to align learning initiatives with organisational goals.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
