About the role

Join our vibrant and dynamic team as we embark on an exciting mission to empower and uplift students with special educational needs (SEND) at our Berwick campus! We're on the lookout for passionate, experienced, and talented individuals who can help us create an exceptional environment that nurtures and supports our amazing students.

In this role, you'll be a key collaborator, working closely with the curriculum team and student support services to develop personalised strategies that will empower students with SEND to overcome obstacles and thrive within our College community. Your creativity and dedication will play a vital role in continuously improving our provision and realising our ambitious vision for excellence.

About you

To succeed in this extraordinary opportunity, you'll need a relevant care, learning support, or youth qualification, ideally at least at NVQ level 2 (or equivalent). If you have a relevant level 3 qualification or the willingness to work towards one, that's a fantastic bonus! Your previous experience in a supported environment or classroom support will be highly valued, and having an understanding of the responsibilities outlined in the Special Education Needs Code of Practice is desirable.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must. As part of our dedicated team, you'll work collaboratively and flexibly, delivering outstanding service throughout the College. In order to meet the demands of this exciting role, there may be opportunities for additional hours, allowing you to make an even greater impact.

If you're ready to embark on a rewarding journey of making a real difference in the lives of students with SEND, we can't wait to hear from you. Join us today and be a part of our inspiring vision for excellence!
