Year 2 Learning Support Assistant | Bromley | ASAP | SEN School
Prospero Teaching is looking for two experienced Learning Support Assistants with experience working with two young Year 2 children with ADHD and Autism. This will be a full-time position, supporting both children with their needs to build their attainment in class.
We are looking for candidates to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN (Special Education Needs), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties).
Contract Details for the LSA role:- Location - SEN School based in Bromley
- Position - X2 Year 2 Learning Support Assistant

- Contract type - Contract leading to Permanent
- Full-time Monday to Friday
- Minimum rate of pay - £85 per day
- Previous LSA/SEN experience is required, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this is not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.
- Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous
- A passion for working with children with ASD/ADHD/Global Delay.
- Proactive in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities.
- You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students.
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references
