LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Develop your teaching skills on a daily support basis as a Learning Support Assistant where you would be providing 1:1 and group support for students whilst support a class teacher. 

Within this Learning Support Assistant opportunity you will be working alongside students across different age groups, subjects and abilities, to ensure their academic progress is supported.

This Learning Support Assistant role is perfect for those looking to gain classroom experience who wish to pursue a rewarding career as a Learning Support Assistant.

Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:

• Work with students who have additional learning and behavioural needs  
• 1:1 and group work
• Support the schools teachers
• Offering a calm learning environment
• Build and develop classroom knowledge and skills  

Learning Support Assistant Requirements:

• Prior SEN / education experience
• Compassionate and patient manner
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work as an individual and part of a team
• Good availability – long-term and short-term roles
