Role Overview:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be an integral part of our mission to empower students and facilitate their academic and personal growth. Your responsibilities will include providing one-on-one and small group support to students with varying needs, contributing to their social and emotional development, and collaborating with educators to ensure a comprehensive approach to Learning Support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised support to students, focusing on their unique learning requirements.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment through effective communication and engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and external specialists to implement tailored support plans.
• Assist in managing challenging behaviours and implementing proactive behaviour management techniques.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role or a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of students.
• Genuine passion for supporting diverse learners and creating inclusive educational experiences.
• Patience, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
• Provide two professional references.
