Position: Learning Support Assistant
Pay: (£80 - £95 per day)
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: April 2024
Our client Secondary school is located within Sunderland with access from surrounding areas via the A1231, A183, A690, A1018 or the A19. For candidates who do not drive, there are many public transport links from the surrounding areas of The North East.
Requirements
- Great 1:1 and group setting behaviour management.
- Have a child only DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for it. (We can help you apply during registration).
- Provide 2 professional references from recent employment.
- Any specific experience supporting young people with additional learning needs or SEN previously is desirable.
Job Brief
- Supporting students of KS3 and KS4 to a range of abilities and SEMH needs.
- Ideal experience to support a PGCE application/Educational Psychology.
- Array of extracurricular activities to get involved with.
- A variety of work in classroom, 1:1 or small nurture group work settings.
- Follow Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs) that have been designed the best meet the needs of children.
