Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity in Thurrock? Our secondary schools are seeking strong, creative, and committed individuals to join our team immediately. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will have the chance to make a real difference in students' lives by providing guidance and support in their academic journey. This is a full-time position with a competitive daily rate of 110- 230.
About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students, teachers, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will be responsible for delivering tailored support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to students, helping them develop essential skills for their future careers.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with support staff and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Monitor students' progress and adjust support strategies as needed.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children in a school setting.
• A strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
