Job description

Bedford College, are currently recruiting for a Learning and Teaching Coach (Apprenticeships).
Lecturers at Bedford College, play a pivotal role in the success of our students through the following:
  • To work effectively as a member of the Quality Improvement team
  • To role model best practice in learning, teaching and assessment
  • To coach, inspire and develop all teaching staff to outstanding quality of education
  • To promote high standards of learning, teaching and assessment to support TBCG towards excellence in the quality of education for all
  • Assist new teaching staff through personalised development activities as part of am impactful induction process
Ideal candidates will have experience of excellent knowledge of all aspects of apprenticeships, alongside the following qualifications:
  • Recognised Teacher Qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTS)
  • Full teaching qualification (PCGE, Cert Ed, QTS)
  • Degree and/or vocational training at an equivalent level in a relevant subject
  • English and Maths GCSE (A-C) or equivalent (Level 2)
  • Commitment to work towards a Masters degree
  • Willingness to undertake further professional development

Bedford College has a number of sites across the town and surrounding areas, these include our main Cauldwell Street campus in the heart of the town, our hair and beauty salon on the High Street, the advanced automotive centre on Brunel Road and the gas and technology plumbing centre in Kempston.
