Leeds Conservatoire is seeking a Learning Technology Assistant to join our Technology Enhanced Learning team.

At Leeds Conservatoire, Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) plays a vital role in our teaching and learning approach. We are a passionate team committed to enhancing the student experience through innovative digital solutions.
The Role:
As a Learning Technology Assistant, you’ll support both staff and students using learning technologies and conservatoire VLE systems. Your responsibilities include:
- Enquiries and Support: Responding to queries and providing technical assistance related to Learning Technology.
- Content Creation: Developing and maintaining content for learning platforms and internal communication systems.
- Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues to support TEL initiatives and enhance the student learning experience.
Qualifications and Skills: We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Education: Minimum of two A-level qualifications or equivalent.
- Knowledge: Understanding of any of music, music technology, or performing arts.
- Digital Capability: Proficiency in digital tools and technologies, as well as being able to support those with lower levels of digital literacy.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service ethos for interactions with students, staff, and external visitors.
Bonus Points:
- An A level or equivalent in Music, Music Technology, or Performing Arts.
- Familiarity with any/all of digital audio workstations, video editing software, or eLearning authoring tools.
Location: The role is primarily based on-campus in Leeds City Centre, with occasional remote working as agreed with your line manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our collaborative team. You’ll play a key role in enhancing the curriculum and communication for our students using cutting-edge technologies.
