THE ROLE
For a lawyer to join the Residential Property & Leasehold team in London.
The current team deals with a whole range of Residential Property matters acting for private individuals, overseas investors and private banks.
The position will involve assisting on general conveyancing transactional work for the team and help enhance and expand that aspect of the work.
THE CANDIDATE
A lawyer with NQ+, you will have a detailed knowledge in the field of leasehold enfranchisement and the associated legislation which underpins that work, including the Leasehold Reform Act 1967, the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987 and the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993.
This will include experience in advising landlords and tenants on the transactional aspects of the applicable procedures from inception to completion.
In particular, that experience will extend to freehold acquisitions under the relevant legislation and the preparation and negotiation of the transactional documents required for those acquisitions.
