Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking a Property Lawyer to join their team on a locum basis.

ROLE:Residential Property Lawyer
LOCATION: London
RATE: £40 to £50 per hour
CONTRACT: 3 months ongoing

Please note that this position would be a hybrid working arrangement.

The Role

• To manage and progress full caseloads in relation to Conveyancing matters


• Matters will include right to buy, leasehold extensions, licences, certificates and general residential conveyancing, acquisitions and disposals


• To appear in court and in chambers on litigious matters as appropriate

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor, Lawyer or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years PQE


• Experienced in independently managing a full caseload of Residential Property matters


• It would be highly beneficial to have previous local authority / public sector experience
