Due to continued growth in Foundation student numbers we are looking to recruit an additional Lecturer. Here at CWA we are proud of the work that we do to support young people with learning difficulties to access courses to support them to achieve independent or semi-independent living. Our Foundation team works closely with learners to develop their skills, whether in the classroom, domestic spaces or in the garden.
Our Foundation students are an important and welcomed part of the community here at CWA. The Foundation team are passionate about their learners and ensure that they have access to the best opportunities. We offer work experience with CWA and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital to give them hands on experience to help them to enter further supported work, voluntary work or study. Many of our learners go on to study mainstream courses at up to level 3.
Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not normally be made at point 10 or above (£32,384) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.
We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Foundation team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.
