SalaryWe are urgently looking for an experienced and qualified Catering Assessor to join our team in a high achieving college in East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing students working towards a vocational qualification in Catering within a college, training centre, or workplace. The assessor will ensure that trainees meet the occupational standards required to achieve their qualifications.
As a Catering Assessor, you will be:
- Assessing students working towards a vocational qualification in Catering.
- Ensuring that trainees meet the occupational standards required to achieve their qualifications.
- Providing feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and assessment results.
- Liaising with other members of the teaching team to ensure that students receive a high-quality learning experience.
As a Catering Assessor, you will need:
- Relevant occupational experience in Catering
- A relevant UK teaching qualification.
- Relevant assessing and teaching experience.
- Literacy and Numeracy to at least Level 2.
- An assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, D32).
- A minimum level 3 in a catering/cheffing/cookery and industry experience
- DBS on the update service
- Preferred experience in Patisserie.
This role is full time, paying up to £40,000p/a
