Job description

About the RoleWe are looking to appoint a Lecturer in Electronic Circuits and Systems to support teaching and research in the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). About YouThe post requires an effective communicator of new and complex ideas with an ability to engage the interest and enthusiasm of the target audience. You will have a PhD, or equivalent experience, in Electronic Engineering, and be passionate about your work in at least one of the following areas: integrated circuits design involving analogue-mixed signal circuits; power management; energy harvesting; in-memory computing; small/large-scale digital electronics; programmable hardware and Systems; and/or AI hardware. Skills in sensors and novel material designs for various applications and data structures; computer systems; operating systems; and/or networks would be an advantage. This is a research-active post and you should therefore have a track-record of high-quality research in Electronic Engineering, with your future research plans being clear and ambitious. The post is based at our Mile End Campus in London and is a full-time, permanent appointment which is available immediately; the successful candidate will ideally join us before April 2024. Starting salary will be in the range of £49,785 - £58,595 per annum which is inclusive of London Allowance. A UK Lecturer is equivalent to an Assistant Professor in the US.
