Applicants must hold a Level 3 or above qualification in Automotive or Engineering, or relevant field and be a qualified teacher or have the commitment to obtaining the appropriate qualification. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Course Leader for our "Step into Engineering/Automotive" courses at City College Norwich, who will lead and organise a comprehensive study program meeting college expectation and demonstrate a strong commitment to student success through exceptional support and guidance. Cultivating a positive learning environment to foster student engagement and utilising modern technology to enhance learning experiences are paramount.
Collaboration with colleagues to develop innovative teaching methods, going the extra mile to ensure students' readiness for future pathways, and a passion for working with young people to shape the future of engineering and automotive industry.

As a College we are required to undertake various Safer Recruitment checks as set out within the guidance from the Department for Education Keeping Child Safe in Education. We require all staff to undertake an enhanced Adult and Child Workforce DBS Check and to register with the DBS Update Service. Please note: From 28 November 2020 the government implemented changes to the filtering rules, and we have been instructed that we cannot accept any update service checks on DBS certificates that have been issued before this date. Therefore, a new one must be completed with City College Norwich.
