Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation and technology and knowledge transfer. - THE ROLE - The post holder will support the delivery of teaching in Mechanical Engineering with the emphasis on Mechanical Science and CAD/CAM and will contribute to research in the School of Computing, Engineering and Intelligent Systems, supporting the necessary environments and relationships required to grow research in this area. The appointee is expected to contribute to the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes within the School. - ABOUT YOU - - Hold an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering or a very closely related subject area. - Have Evidence of an advanced level of knowledge and experience of Mechanical Engineering with particular emphasis on the principles and applications of: - Mechanical Science\Machine Design - CAD\CAM - Have evidence of recent research and development activity commensurate with individual career path to date.
