Lecturer / Senior Lecturer Business Management (Marketing / Digital Marketing)

£37,099 – £41,732/£42,978 - £56,021 per annum  An exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join us at Birmingham Newman University to deliver our established BA (Hons) Business Management degree, within the new School of Business and Law. You will play a key role in growing and delivering the undergraduate degree programmes, supported by the Head of Subject for Business Programmes. You will contribute to teaching in your area of expertise, Marketing and Digital Marketing, and deliver other core modules in the programmes. You will design, plan and deliver learning activities by engaging effectively in substantive teaching and learning support roles, selecting appropriate methods of assessment and feed back to learners, supervising student projects, and undertaking duties related to supporting an excellent student experience. In addition, you will enhance the scholarly reputation of the Business programmes by contributing expertise and knowledge, supporting Institutional, Faculty and School initiatives. You will hold a Master’s level degree in a relevant subject and/or have equivalent professional qualifications; have an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business Management or other appropriate subject, and/or equivalent professional qualification; and Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy or the ability to gain Fellowship within a specified time-frame, and teaching experience in higher education and/or training experience in a professional context. You will have teaching/training experience in at a Digital Marketing undergraduate module relevant to the programme, and experience of working independently in teaching/training at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels or in delivering professional qualifications and demonstrable potential to engage in teaching and learning support in engaging and innovative ways.
