We are currently recruiting x2 Lecturers/Senior Lecturers to teach on UG and PG Academic Law programmes. Working with an experienced team of Academic Law colleagues, successful candidates will teach, assess and support students on the LLB and LLM programmes. It is expected that successful candidates will also undertake module leadership roles and supervise dissertations/projects. We would particularly welcome applications from individuals with teaching experience and expertise in at least two of the following areas: International Investment Law International Environmental Law Alternative Dispute Resolution/International Arbitration Cyberlaw/IT Law Employment Law Company Law Successful candidates will also work closely with the Head of School, Directors, Associate Directors and Programme Leaders to continue the development of the School’s learning and teaching initiatives and ensure the innovative nature of the curriculum. About you We are seeking to recruit ambitious, innovative, inclusive and collaborative individuals for these posts to teach, assess and support students on the LLB, Law and Criminology and/or LLM programmes. Prospective candidates should have an in-depth knowledge, gained through scholarship, research and / or professional practice, in at least two of the subject areas identified above. They should also have experience of teaching in a higher / further education sector. In addition, prospective applicants should possess excellent communication, organisational and time management skills, and have the ability to communicate complex information in a student-friendly and effective manner. A commitment to a student-centred approach and maintaining high ethical standards is crucial. Furthermore, the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and manage demanding situations is important.
