Lecturer/Senior Lecturer In Accounting

Queen’s Business School is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Accounting. This is a key post within the Accounting Department. At a time of innovation, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and strengthen the future direction of the Accounting Department from both a research and teaching perspective. Our supportive research environment enables attendance at international conferences, facilitates the pursuit of high-quality publications and fosters meaningful engagement with non-academic stakeholders. About the person:

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate you have:

• A PhD in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Indication of, or already recognised, excellence and reputation in line with norms for the specific post applied to.
• Indication of, or sustained, publication record of international excellence in line with norms for the specific post applied to.
• Experience of teaching and assessment in Accounting at university level in line with norms for the specific post applied to.
• Demonstrable excellence in classroom teaching and online delivery of teaching.
• Appropriate administrative and academic leadership at a strategic level commensurate with their stage of career and in line with norms for the specific post applied to.
