Job description

Location: Aston University Main Campus Closing Date: 23.59 hours GMT on Sunday 18 February 2024 Interview Date: Thursday 07 March 2024 You are invited to apply for one or more posts as (a) Teaching Fellow(s) or (a) Lecturer(s) in Pharmacy Practice. You must currently be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacist. For both positions, you must also possess a PG Cert in Professional Practice in Higher Education (or equivalent) or be a Fellow of Advance HE (or demonstrate a willingness to undertake such a qualification when in post). For the Lectureship, you must possess a doctorate in a relevant academic discipline. You will develop and enhance aspects of the teaching and scholarly activities of the school, with a focus on the practice of pharmacy in near-patient settings. For the lectureship, you will also develop a research profile in an area of Pharmacy Practice. You will be able to develop links with our external partners across all sectors of pharmacy and healthcare to advance the clinical capabilities of our students and to support our students in the development of their professional identities. In addition you will be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for education and a commitment to the development of pharmacy as a profession.
