Kennedys is looking for a Legal Administrator to join our Sheffield office. The role will include acknowledging new instructions, creating court bundles, identifying key dates/deadlines, liaising with team to complete client deadlines and general office admin duties, in a paperless environment.
Team
Kennedys Healthcare division advise the NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts and medical malpractice insurers of private hospitals, clinics and practitioners on EL/PL and clinical negligence claims. The team advise on medical insurance coverage, health law advice, and regulatory matters and represent clients at inquests and judicial reviews. The team have a presence across our London, Cambridge, Birmingham and some of our global offices.
Key responsibilities
- Deal accurately with e-filing of documents-
- Operate the Firm's quality procedures and information security systems as specified in the current edition of the Quality Procedures
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all practice and client's documentation and/or information
- Undertake electronic file closure and archiving when required and assist with locating closed files when required.
Required experience
- Previous experience as an administrator in a professional services environment
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven organisational skills with a proactive attitude
- Proven ability to deal with confidential matters with discretion
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team from a shared inbox
