Legal Administrator - Perth - Salary up to £30,000 p/a DOE 

Are you looking for a new legal opportunity in Perth? Do you have legal administration or secretarial experience? Are you looking for an opportunity to join an established firm? 

We are looking to speak to experienced Legal Administrators who are looking for a new, challenging opportunity in Perth! For this role, you will have experience providing administrative support to a wider team daily within a Legal or Professional Services environment. You will be well organised, proactive and adaptable to assist and complete a high volume workload within set deadlines, meeting business standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded firm. 

This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday - Friday, core hours. This position will be fully office based in Perth, with a salary of up to £30,000 p/a available DOE. 

 

Are you who we are looking for? 

  • You have legal administration experience or administration experience within a professional services environment
  • You are well organised and able to manage a busy workload
  • You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages 
  • You have excellent communication skills both written and orally
  • You can work well individually and as part of a wider team 
  • You are able to manage your time and diary effectively to meet deadlines 
  • You have a strong attention to detail 
  • You have knowledge of AML processes (desired, but not essential) 

 

What is the day to day like? 

  • Completing all client administration work, including opening and closing files, drafting letters or engagement and terms of business
  • Completing all finance administration associated with client transactions
  • Producing reports using the case management system 
  • Requesting, preparing and ordering searches from Registers of Scotland
  • Completing LBTT returns 
  • Producing and typing up various documents including letters, reports, articles, presentations and any specialist documents in line with the firms house style 
  • Coordinating and arranging travel when required
  • Completing all file management
  • Managing diaries daily when required 
  • Reviewing and improving procedures across the department
