Sue Ross Legal are working with a well-established, award winning firm of Solicitors in the recruitment of a Legal Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with the Solicitor in Sheffield to provide comprehensive support to the Inheritance & Will disputes department on specialised legal matters.
Primary Duties:
- Support a specialised caseload.
- Liaise with clients and third parties to support the progression of matters.
- Deliver a high standard of client care and first-class customer experience.
- Work commercially which is reflected in your case management and outcomes.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Transcribe and audio type for the Lawyers within the team.
- Achieve and deliver key outcomes for both the client and the firm.
- Support the billing process and liaise with the Finance Department where appropriate.
- Draft and transcribe letters and documents.
- General administration throughout the matter life cycle.
- Accurately record all time when progressing legal matters.
To be considered for this position, you must have a Law degree, or prior experience working within a legal environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team with a passion for delivering an excellent client experience. You will be ambitious and bring an enthusiastic, energetic, and can-do presence to the business.
