Position: Legal Assistant (Residential Property & Litigation)
Location: Walsall
I am currently working with a leading Law firm in West Midlands who are looking for a Legal Assistant to join their team in their Walsall office.
The successful candidate will be working in both Residential Property and Litigation. You MUST have experience in Conveyancing, but no experience in Litigation is needed as training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative support including: file opening, document production, filing/archiving, retrieval of files, photocopying, email management, cheque requests, and dealing with post
- Drafting documents, using appropriate precedents and templates to accurately reflect fee earner instruction
- Assisting Senior Solicitor in Residential property matters and Litigation.
- Arranging and scheduling meetings and other appointments
- Running monthly bills, diarising payments, and follow-up
- Carrying out other duties and responsibilities as required
About you -
- Previous experience within a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant role
- Excellent organisation capability with the ability to effectively prioritise
- Ability to work quickly, accurately, to deadlines and under pressure
- Competent with IT applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience on case management systems desirable
- Strong written communication skills
- A friendly approachable personality to facilitate the link between lawyers, clients and third parties
- Good attention to detail
- Professional, personal presentation
This is a full time office based role. Mon-Friday 9:00-5:15pm.

Pay: £20,000.00-£23,500.00 per year
