Job description
SJC is currently managing the recruitment process for a highly reputable, multi service law firm in Harrogate who are looking for a Private Client Assistant/Paralegal to join their high performing Private Client department.
The role will include-
* Assist the fee earners with all aspects of Wills and Probate, assisting with letters and telephone calls, using online portals and a case management system
* All areas concerned with the preparation and execution of Lasting Powers of Attorney - including preparation of documents and attending to registration with the Office of the Public Guardian.
* All areas of Court of Protection applications for Deputyships
* Assisting the Partners with all aspects of their caseloads
The Person -
* Possess a minimum of 12 months experience within a Private Client team
* Previous experience of using a Case Management system
* Confident speaking with clients both face to face and over the phone
* The ability to build positive relationships and a passion for providing outstanding customer service
* A high level of attention to detail
* The ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
* Excellent time management, organisation and admin skills
