SalaryA market leading global technology company is looking to recruit an experienced Legal Counsel to join their in-house legal team on a 12 month FTC.
The role offers hybrid working with 3 days per week office based in Cheltenham.
As Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for supporting the UK Legal Team on a range of legal activities in the EMEA regions in which the business operates. These activities will include supporting the management team in achieving its corporate goals, minimising contractual and commercial risk, negotiating agreements with suppliers, and providing commercial advice and support.
Key responsibilities will include providing legal advice in relation to a wide range of commercial contracts, drafting amending and reviewing a wide range of master service agreements and service orders, providing assistance with M&A transactions and advising on privacy issues. In addition, you will be required to work closely with the business on all legal matters and assist with the drafting and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
Applications are sought from qualified solicitors with at least 3 years PQE who have a solid commercial law background. Strong commercial contracts and the ability to manage complex negotiations is key along with experience of M&A, data protection and litigation. Previous experience of working in-house is also preferred.
