The ideal candidate:
MDE is seeking a full-time Qualified Solicitor with a expertise in property law. The candidate should possess essential soft skills. Attention to detail is crucial in reviewing titles and legal agreements, while excellent organisational skills are essential for coordinating matters with external partners and supervising the use of templates. The successful candidate will have the ability to multitask, prioritise workload, use initiative, and collaborate effectively within the team.
In addition, the ideal candidate will have a passion for renewables and a desire to grow their legal career in a mission-driven organisation with exciting projections for growth. Duties and Responsibilities:
Assessing, bargaining, and finalising a range of legal contracts
Formulating legal templates and overseeing their use by the extended team
Offering comprehensive legal assistance to the entire team and external stakeholders
Acting as a key contact for clients and intermediaries
Requirements for Success:
Qualified solicitor with 3 years+ PQE experience in property - preferably across both English and Scottish law
Confidence dealing with a variety of clients and working across internal teams
Strong IT literacy
Natural negotiator
