Legal Counsel - Private Bank

This pre-eminent Private Bank, based in the City of London, provides banking services to its high net worth customers. Steeped in history, the bank has gone through significant change and modernisation in recent years. With growth, the bank is seeking to expand its legal team by hiring a Legal Counsel. The role of Legal Counsel is broad and all encompassing. Primarily you will be providing advice to the bank on a range of topics including: * banking and finance matters related to existing and new products * general commercial and corporate matters * occasional disputes and employment matters * company and governance matters * regulatory issues Candidate Requirements * Ideally you will have a minimum of 4 years' PQE either in house in a banking environment or from within a well regarded law firm * Experience of banking and finance, ideally having had experience of advising on consumer products for HNW customers * A commercial outlook and excellent team skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders across the bank The bank offers significant flexibility in its working patterns and is very family focused, allowing those with children the required flexibility to be able to manage personal and work commitments together.
