Key Responsibilities of the Legal Operations Manager include:
Technology Optimization:
- Manage relationships with third-party tech providers, including Apperio, Osborne Clarke Solutions, and Thomson Reuters (High Q).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create roadmaps for ongoing platform development.
- Identify and implement improvements, focusing on streamlining reporting and enhancing accessibility.
Legal Processes and Information:
- Oversee legal processes, ensuring ongoing fitness for purpose and identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage information access to guarantee data accuracy across platforms.
Financial Administration:
- Enhance financial processes for improved governance and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with Finance and external law firms to ensure a controlled cost environment.
Law Firm Management:
- Support relationship management meetings and reporting for external law firms.
- Drive consistency and performance improvements in relationships.
Reporting:
- Develop and deliver impactful reports showcasing team activities and supporting business needs.
- Utilize legal tech platforms for effective data capture and reporting.
The successful Legal Operations Manager will have:
- Experience with IT systems.
- Data-driven reporting skills.
- Some legal experience and knowledge.
- Financial control experience.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for technology and continuous improvement.
- Confidence in dealing with stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
