The PA will primarily work with one of our Tax & Succession teams. The part-time hours are 20 hours per week and there is some flexibility on work pattern.
The successful candidate will provide a proactive and comprehensive PA service to Partners & Fee earners to enable them to focus their time on providing legal services to clients.

Description
As a PA you will:
- Managing diaries, ensuring these are kept up-to-date and include all meetings and periods of absence (e.g. holidays, etc.);
- Keeping Partner/Fee Earner advised of upcoming activities and provide any required papers in advance;
- Arranging internal and external meetings including the booking of rooms, arranging refreshments and equipment as required. Checking rooms prior to meetings and liaising with other attendees;
- Preparing and distributing meeting packs/working papers in advance of diarised meetings.
- Arranging travel requirements;
- Producing Aderant reports;
- Ensuring out-going mail and enclosures are ready for collection by the mailroom. All documentation should be signed and sealed, where possible and should be ready in a timely manner;
- Sending of emails as and when required;
- Taking telephone calls and dealing with appropriately;
- Taking accurate messages where required and passing messages on in a timely manner;
- Provide assistance to other Tax & Succession PAs as required; and
- Monitoring post and/or e-mails as required and ensuring all relevant client related correspondence is direct to the appropriate fee earner.
Profile
- Legal Secretarial experience is preferred and PA experience is essential;
- Excellent communication, organisational, team and interpersonal skills;
- Attention to detail is a must along with confidentiality;
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise own workload;
- Flexible and dependable and able to take the initiative;
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and other in-house software packages in use; and
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships in a confident & professional manner.
Job Offer
- The hours are 20 hours per week, we are flexible on days but ideally 20 hours over 4 or 5 days, but open to discussion on work pattern.
