My client are a friendly highly street law firm that have an opening within their busy team for an experienced Legal Secretary (experience in a Family or Litigation department would be an advantage).
Key skills are: -
• Document production, audio and copy typing
• Generating legal forms
• Managing diaries, ensuring they are up to date and reminding fee earners of meetings etc on a daily basis;
• photocopying, printing, organising couriers, sending out of letters, etc;
• Opening and closing of general files, general filing, record keeping and archiving of files;
• Using effective systems to ensure that both short and long term tasks are completed within required time-scale.
• Taking internal and external telephone queries, responding as appropriate and/or ensuring that all messages are passed on in a timely manner;
• Monitoring post and/or e-mails and dealing with as appropriate and ensuring that all client related correspondence is passed on to an appropriate fee earner if the relevant person is out of the office;
